There's also 125 countries that were able to play the game but will be locked out of it since those countries can't create PSN accounts, and using things like VPNs violates sony's TOS which will also ban the account which in turn locks you out of the game.
Also sony has a history of severe data breaches which many people are not comfortable with. The 2011 hacks coming to mind.
But i still can't make one for PSN so game will be unplayable
I stopped buying any PlayStation game after they locked cross play for games like Rocket League when cross-play was first becoming a thing and forced players to make PlayStation accounts and only let players play with other people on PlayStation.
And when it leaked that they charge third party developers for "loss of revenue" when games that are multi-platform sell well on other platforms because Sony sees every sale of a game on their console as their god-given right to have access to the money.
Or when they arbitrarily raised the prices on everything in their network without offering a single extra thing to make it worth it.
Or when they arbitrarily raised the price of games.
Or when they became the most hacked and leaked company regarding customer personal information on the planet.
NOTE: The game said from day 1 PSN accounts are required.
