I was not informed when I bought the game that I must open a third party account (PSN).

I was not informed that I must link my Steam account to a third party account (PSN).

If when I bought the game I was introduced to a screen demanding to open a PSN account then I would have refunded the game.

I did not consent to give any personal data to Sony at the time of buying the product called Helldivers 2 for PC via Steam.

They just changed it in my region as well:

It is fraud, lie, and intent of theft. We bought a game, and they're taking it away from us.
Well, at least people in regions where PSN is blocked, by the nation itself, or by Sony. Like Russia, China, Iran I think - Sony literally BANNED those nations from playing their games if said games require PSN. And those are a few out of OVER A HUNDRED (100) countries that can't use PSN.

On top of the obvious reasons not wanting to create a PSN account and link it with our Stem account as already mentioned, there is another serious longterm reason why Sony collects customers' personal data by any means.

This is not the first game to do this. Rockstar did it with GTA IV and the Social Club account requirement that was latter added on. That was a mess to be able to play my single player game again, it took weeks from support for verification's. I'm not making any new accounts anymore. Steam has been selling these games this way for years.
