This game have potential issues that have not been fixed yet since day 1, but it seems the developers are just ignoring them such as the random crashes to desktop, bugs and whatnot than just linking your email to PSN.

Talking over up to 8 friends from Steam they have been experiencing technical issues in an average 2-hour play-trough, from mid-end to high-end rigs. The most annoying one is the crash to desktop.

Linking to PSN is the least of thing of importance. You could just add a fake email for it, there are workarounds, and it is not like it will get worse from it.

Only 69 out of 195 countries allow for a psn account, and Helldivers was sold in 190 countries. That's active players from 121 countries that are being cut off and will no longer able to support Supper Earth.

So to all those people out there just saying "make an account", "it's not a big deal", you're either pretty thoughtless or heartless.

At this point, I'm suspecting most are paid Sony shills doing inept damage control rather than actually addressing the issue in ways a majority wish.

Final B... It is very concerning that you believe that giving Sony your personal information is the least concerning on that list. I was part of the class action in April 2011. You think it is a laughing matter that your information is lost to malicious actors... Do you have any idea the damage that can be done to you with the information from a few of these breaches? Do you have any idea how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ your life can become if someone opens a housing loan in your name? Or registers you as deceased? Let alone just starts making purchases in your name.

um... u don't know what linking ur account means do you? it's not email ... it's steam. so the email u use to create ur psn can't be a throw away e-mail. plus if u actually understand the PSN policies it's granting access to ur camera and microphone in the name of security and anti cheat.

The best part is Sony wants us to link to PSN so they can ban people easier in game who "grief" by killing their teammates. How about just making it to where you cant kill your teammates at all....stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ snowflakes.
