Sony banning people in countries where PSN is not available.
So far there have been several reports of players from China, whose country cannot access the playstation network, that have gotten banned for trying to link their Steam accounts with a PSN account while using a VPN.
GG sony lol.

Think of how many countries cannot access PSN.
It's got to send a wrecking ball to Sony right about now.

Yeah, I am not sure how many countries are not allowed to access the playstation network, China is the obvious one, then there are some European countries that also can't access it. Sony took their money and then decided that they can't play anymore, It's gonna be rough for them unless they figure out a way for these people.
Some reddit post claims that about 125 countries don't have access to PSN. *shrug*

There are only 69 countries that DO have access to PSN. Considering there are 190+ "countries"... yeah...

Some of these countries don't even have PlayStations. Mauritius, Afghanistan, Yemen, Chad, and other tiny principalities. It makes sense for a large number on that list. Not because they don't like those markets, but because in some of those countries a market doesn't exist period.
Others like Estonia and Bangladesh would obviously be more likely to be effected by this.

China seems like a bit of a special case, since theyre actively resisting western companies rather than the western companies just being indifferent to them.

"That's OK. Just use a VPN and put in a fake address. It'll be fine." Let's just say, this doesn't surprise me.
