What Happens if I live in a country that doesnt support PSN?

I'm sure there are some VPN related shenanigans you could do to get around such a thing if they don't rollback this and it stops you from playing.

Same here. Living in a country without PS Store. Tried for a couple of hours to create an account with VPN, at first got spammed with "Can't create an account. Contact the customer support." and after creating it I can't log in, it automatically instantly log outs.

So now to play HD2 I needed to dance a couple of hours with creating an account and now I need to try to explain the customer support that I can't use the account I created and pray that they'll answer me in a week or smth. Too much of a hassle for the game I paid 40$ for.
Guess will try refunding because I'm not ready to go through all that to continue playing a paid game.

I personally have issues registering on PSN even with a VPN. It just refuses to register and gives an error. And I can't even get a refund because the game was gifted to me.

Legitimate question. Its unlikely that it constitutes a problem for the developer or Sony. Edge-cases rarely do.

If they develop a workaround/solution you can rtake that as a very strong indicator that they care about their playerbase. Even when they implement necessities that stem from their contractual obligations.

You can jsut make an account anyway, and list a country nearby on it, you dont make store purchases on it, and they dont really care what country you are from on the account, its just meant to allow them to more easily offer online services (matchmaking and friends list), all purchases are made through steam on pc. only when making purchases through the PSN store does your location really matter.

Yeah, I just hope by the end of all this drama i get to play the game. I honestly dont mind making an account. All this (info leak) and what not is insignificant to me lol.
