This was Sony's decision, not arrowhead, they're the ones who made the post.
Right, so Arrowhead had no ability to launch the title without crossplay and snoy involvement.
I mean, who saw this coming?

Arrowhead has known about this the entire time though. And never had it been mentioned we were in a grace period or this was coming. While people continued to buy the game and hype ran wild and OH YEAH! The connectivity problems they talk about were fixed in February. But let's not mention this is coming back to anyone until right before we do it.
