There is now a real contender for my beloved Trailblazer armour. I will keep using the helmet though.

Didn't try it but it should.
There's plenty of armours that i don't like the look of, but that i wear when i want that passive..
Choice is good of course, but ultimately it matters not
Don't have issues against Rambo.
We are NOT Rambo.
We are squishy Helldivers.
We trip and ragdoll over rocks.
Our explosives are like gnat farts compared to Rambo's explosive bow.

Amazing, this armour makes those clunky weapons a totally different thing.
Though i still feel like the HMG needs 25 more rounds to really feel right, the handling provided by the armor perk really reallly makes the HMG feel like a solid choice now.
