Helldivers 2 Discord Moderators

This is a perfect example of the stanford prison experiment.

Give people pseudo authority, and it is a matter of time before it is abused.

They will ban/censor anybody that does not align with their worldview.

They will abuse their 'position' by banning anybody that 'violates' their worldviews without a first offense as well.

Helldivers 2 moderators are the worst I've ever seen, and people like that should never be given any position of power - even as little power as banning people from discord servers.

You want to stop dwindling player base? Stop the moderators for the official discord... check how many people they've banned without warning.

I wouldn't trust them running a lemonade stand.

I think arrowhead should investigate further, because it does NOT help their users, consumers, or company -- having a moderating team that behaves in such a manner. Nobody wants "volunteers" that drive away clients.

Does arrowhead even know what's going on with their discord server? I'd have to assume they do.

It's useful for updates and patch notes. That's it.

If you wanted to be a social butterfly you should have read the rules, because it isn't an open forum and never pretended to be.

Your fault for engaging tbh. Lesson learned: Stay out of those social channels. They are for drama and children.

it is striking that in a discord chat which has rules clearly marked "no sexual content" allows curtain "sexual" convo's and harassment to happen. seems rules only apply to some?

They 'peg' up individual users on a daily basis and create issues out of thin air which lasts moving forward.

The group that can speak, the group the avoids the issue while checking only official posts, and the transient group that doesn't matter - mixed with the few that "don't care"?

The banned group is gone but still grows larger by the day.

If you want to make your own independent channels for communication, one that can bring the last remaining 50,000 or so Helldivers to a unified coordinated effort, then by all means make your own Discord server and I'll be happy to come along. Let's show how freedom is done RIGHT!
