Charger Behemoths Are To Strong
So I personally think the behemoths are way to strong. I love having them actually appear on mission more frequently, but my main issue is that way to many of them spawn and that they are extremely hard to kill.

I play on level 7 normally as a good balance of fun and difficulty. Yet ive been having nearly every mission getting swarmed by around 5 behemoths. Unless dropping a 500kg right on them or using a orbital railcannon strike it takes way to long to kill them. They are super armored and the armor on them reflects almost everything. It feels like fighting a super mobile bile titan.

Ive tested and using the anti tank, quasar, and recoil-less and it takes around on average 3-4+ shots to the head to kill them. If their numbers were reduced and mixed in with the normal charges I think it would fix it.

Anyone feel similarly about this?

I did a mission set brought EAT because it was a MG personal order. They died within 2 EATs to the face. I personally killed 3 that way.

In the defense mission, the spear took them out in 1-2 hits as well depending on the angle I'm hitting from. The one's that died within 1, i can't confirm if it was already weakened since everything is under constant mortars and bombardment.

middle and back legs are good targets for the emancipator. 2 eat launchers to the mouth. a perfect airstrike breaks the armor for you to hit it with other stuff. FLAMES FLAMES FLAMES

There is (allegedly) a bug with the AT weapons and leg armour. You can destroy the armour of the leg if you walk forward while you shoot, now any weapon will kill it.

So you don't waste two rockets in the head.

Perfect airstrike kills a behemoth. I've done it.. once lol

Should be two EAT/Quasar to the face. If it's taking more, the aim/positioning may be off. If you can, shoot the back legs. They can be exposed easier and then your primaries can finish them off. Also, stun grenades can be your friend.

Try the flamethrower it dies from it realy fast if you hit the leg

Can vouch that due to damage-fall-off mechanics, you lose one point inherently when firing in general, yet gain a point when moving forward due to the velocity boost, which is the threshold for armor-stripping the leg.

Anyway I like them but they seem currently bugged to spawn too often. Every other heavy properly spawns less as intended I found.

Honestly I mostly agree. Even if they reduced the leg armor so you can kill it with 1 rocket without the walking forward nonsense, there's still to many of them for the rocket weapons to compete with the flamethrower.

If they even out the distribution of regular and behemoth chargers I think it'd go a long way to increasing weapon variety without really changing the balance, since the flamethrower is already killing both types at about the same speed already.

Stop using orbital railcanon. The buffs to the other stratagems have made it completely obsolete. You're far better off learning how to wrangle and landing orbital precision strikes.

I'd rather go back to having more heavy enemies that AT and airstrikes reliably kill than less heavies that soak up double the hits. Spongy enemies are not fun.
I really wish they would fix the damn red beam stratagem bug so we could just take orbital precision strike, throw it on their back and get a guaranteed kill.

Until then you just need a guy on dedicated flamer. They die just as well as regular chargers to it.

tried precision strike.. except its not that precise. I had it couple of times go different spot than i threw it so no, i will not use a stratagem thats random in its efficency. Its not good vs titans or tanks but same happens with gas smoke - it sometimes misses the mark or WORSE; it doesnt do any damage to little guys.
