FURRY "ART"?!?? REALLY!?!?
This is the state of the game. This is where we are at. The major discussion about this game which was meant to be completely apolitical, is bans on discord over FURRIES.
I feel sick. This is the first game for me that went from super epic to uninstall due to the level of incompetence mixed with disgust.

I didn't, the admins on Helldiver 2 discord did that to enforce somekind of a standard.
Admin, singular.
Also to clarify again, this is a default discord standard reaction, and he is going to ban over it?

same as likes and dislikes, that is feedback...

Yes it is, just like a heart emote or a thumbs up icon can be used feedback. Icons have meanings, and therefore can act as a tool to express feedback.

Whether you think an emote icon is enough to convey useful feedback that's an entirely different issue. However, if the moderator did not want emote icons as reactions but only allow full-text feedback, they could have just deactivated reaction icons for that channel.

As a scalie, I'd still vote against furry art on a HD2 official Discord (if I was there, of course). There's place and time for everything, and a game company server ain't one, chief.
Additionally, if someone puke-reacted to what I posted, I prob. would've just had a chuckle and moved on with my day because annoying people amuses me (I admit). Nothing more. Mods which ban for reactions should not be mods IMO

I find furries annoying.
- But the REE on SteamForum proves the discord mods made the right choice.
- I think it's a little unfair they dumped all their problems to SteamMods tho'

They need to clone twinbeard about 10x and let him run everything. He is the only one I have seen just do his job and promote the game and actually the game is better for having him employed.

Where did they find the rest of those mods, it is insane you cant just hire a team in 2024 that doesnt abuse its mod power by shoving their politics down your throat while telling you that YOU cant talk about politics.

Had a lot of my friends list talking about coming back to HD after tomorrows patch. Now all they talk about is "Did you hear what is happening on their discord" and I doubt any of them will bother coming back and playing again.

a like or dislike is not feedback; what are you offering feedback about by like or dislike? The video? The quality? The audio? The context of it? The sound of the person's voice who is talking?

The comment section you can provide feedback about why you liked the video or disliked it. Do you get it now?

This. My companion point to this is how is the vomit emote any different then a thumbs down emote, except you know a little more vitriolic about it's dislike?

In my experience from what I see on social media, people nowadays, especially those from the left / the progressives / lgbtq posers, can't handle criticism of any sort, but instead see everything even remotely negative feedback as hate and as a personal attack on their person, making adult discussion or compromise difficult, if not impossible.

They also seem to come with whole bouquets of other issues, but it's a looooong story of its own, definitely not one for this topic at hand. But one I think might be worth mentioning is their desire to create safe bubbles. Like really safe bubbles. Like 25g sugar per 100ml safe bubbles. And if someone doesn't fit, they turn quiiiiiite... unwelcoming
Have seen it happen before, and I guess we are seeing it happen right now on HD2 Discord
