the fact that its the primary way that devs use to communicate with us and you need to share your phone number to even use it AND the mods are powertripping (no, using an emoji that is allowed is not breaking the rules, if they dont want vommit emojis they can ban their use, discord lets you ban singular emojis)

It's AH discord, why they should change mod because you don't like to be treaten as an adult? Well there is an easy solutions, quit that discord and the problem it's solved. Personally i got 0 issue with all the mod there, i got more problem here on steam where the moderator just stay more on the LGBTQ+ side to avoid some fight. Well this is the new world it's seem

And I'm sure they won't dox you later with the phone number. People like that would never make a shared "outcast" cancel list of people to circulate and harass.

The issue is that they generally don't treat people a adults, it seems. Some mods are reasonable, but a majority seem to have a "ban first" mentality that sidesteps any notions of escalating consequences; say something a certain mods doesn't like? Ban. Make a satirical response to another guy being openly hostile in gen 1? You're both banned. If the mods just used the mute function a bit more literally instead of jumping to the nuclear solution of bans, then there wouldn't be as much hate for them.

I literally got banned for calling A mouse a piece of ♥♥♥♥ and saying she should be fired. I wasn't given a warning, no timeout, just straight up banned. The mod who did it sent a reply to my message saying calling orbital strike before deleting my message and banning me. I want nothing to do with Helldivers 2 now. I have had so much fun with that game but the idiots in charge did the PSN thing and now this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ running around banning whoever doesn't like her or disagrees. ♥♥♥♥ you Soyney, just ♥♥♥♥ you.

Should've fired the CM a long time ago. But they don't really care about the community and are fine on how dead this game is and the CM are a big reason why nobody is coming back. Other than sony refusing to allow all previous helldivers to return after they changed to requiring a useless account in order to play with other PC gamers online.
