No bait here. I'm serious.
>Buys game with political satire overtones
>Is shocked when game contains political satire overtones
either that or just looking so deep into it your spine's done a 180 and forced your head up your arse
Basic human morality does not qualify as political satire. Whether you have morals or not, does not depend on political affiliation.
This Major Order might count as terrorism though.
I did make edits.
Now who's baiting trolls? You almost got me there.
1 "This is ridiculous, stupid, and pathetic. it's the kind of Major Order that validates those IRL [further dribbling]" - Bro living in 2009, debatably but not really.
2 "It is sadistic and cruel of the developers to force us to choose in this manner." - Nah, it fits entirely with the themes of the game + not really "forced"
3 "Especially when the truth is, both of these are pathetically useless" - One serves the story, the other serves practical combat use even if niche; niche is not equal to useless.
4 "This boils down to being purely a morality-based decision." - That's the point.
5 "Neither will result in anything useful for the gameplay." see 3.
Very cool how I refreshed and the "islamic state" part of that rambling was edited out too
adding 6 This literally just boils down to looking too deep into an otherwise surface-level part of the story. Nevermind the illuminate or Super Earth's 'democracy that isnt really a democracy', apparently this is the deepest thing in the game.
Again, basic human morality does not qualify as political satire. Whether you have morals or not, does not depend on political affiliation. So your No. 2 is disproven right off the bat.
This is not politics-driven. It is morality driven. Therefore it does not fit with the theme of the game.
B: Political Satire is not limited to "affiliation"; personal or otherwise
C: ???
D: It sounds more like you personally have an issue with assumptions you've made based on a microscopic piece of the story, rather than you understand; the game, the game's story, the game's purpose, the story's purpose, and everything surrounding those listed. <3
In other news, I've been convinced! I'm pivoting from children to the anti-tank mines. Why? It's funny. It says nothing about the game, the story, me personally, nor the objective itself. It's a game with a dynamic story, and I'm now interested more than before to see what prioritizing the mines entails.
