Tried it earlier, and personally wasn't happy with it - killing power felt a bit low against Automatons, but it does help a bit with keeping the distance between you and the target.
All the DLC weapons are in a very weird spot. Most of them aren't outright awful, but don't feel much different from their free counterparts - and none of them are among the better weapons.
I honestly like how they handle extra weapon varieties.
Never to make them straight upgrades but 'sidegrades' with more niche uses.
I feel conflicted about that sentiment. I agree that they TRIED to diversify the weapons, but in reality they're all pretty much the same in terms of functionality.
Especially things like the Senator are just... confusing. Why is the weapon so inaccurate? Why is the damage so unbelievably low? It would clearly fit the niche against Automatons but they decided to make it so ass that you still end up dropping it for the bullethose Redeemer in any situation anyway.
Also 150% damage against Chargers with explosives. Wow real nice, now I deal 150% damage of zero damage. Brilliant thanks.
As a stunlocker, does it work on all enemies—even Heavies?
