Why do people who despise the anti cheat even play the game?
Not all, but most of people who've been against this anti cheat, the ones who tell us to "avoid it" and not to "trust it", still go on to play the game? Like why? How is anyone suppose to take you and your points seriously if you contradict yourself?

No offense or anything, just curious.

yeah like windows 10/11 itself, if you're not activeley disabling parts of windows it'll log and send more of your information then this anti cheat ever will :)

Couldn't believe it the other day, after an update, Edge decided to start opening itself up on startup, and had automatically pulled in my tabs from Chrome without even asking.

If a heroin addict told you not to do heroin would you do heroin because he's clearly a hypocrite

standard microsoft practice, i learnt my lesson when i left my pc on overnight and my windows 7 pc had magically turned into a windows 10 pc overnight without any user input, i do think they got sued for it at some point, but they still did it

There is no issue with it. The only thing people bring up that's bad are things from 2005 when the anti-cheat was fairly new and had some exploits and bugs.

and of course, some are worried that THEIR cheats may get flagged, so...
If they remove the rootkit, I'll purchase; until then Sony has not remotely established it self as worthy of trust.

This was a great video. It made me think of when and why I cheated back in Counter Strike Source so many years ago.

I never knew wall hacks existed. I was so good at the game, that many people thought I was cheating, but at this time I wasn't.

I played a match solo with someone in my clan, and he was just sniping me. I was like wtf, are wall hacks real? I got him to admit that he had wall hacks and give them to me, and then I got the wall hacks and couldn't believe it. And with these, sometimes you can see other people using it, and I felt I didn't want to lose a competitive advantage. But it wasn't long until the game was ruined for me. I hated cheats, I hated I participated and that it was in the game, so I went to console gaming for a long time(Now there are cheats). It's why I was into CoD for so many years and stopped playing CS.
