I have a question. Why is General Brasch "general", a rank that doesnt exist for helldivers? Is he soldier of the SEAF (super earth armed forces), the rugular army of super earth? But why would a SEAF train new helldivers?

My headcanon is that General Brasch is one hundred percent dead and only exists in recordings. There are always generals in a military though, they just don't go to the front lines anymore. So he was a helldiver and managed to get promoted past it. Or maybe it's just a fiction used by the powers that be.

Also, define training. We've all been to Mars right. That training sets you up to be nothing more than caped cannon fodder, it's a--

Years of service and some politicking is require for that.

What makes you think generals don't exist? Player titles don't mean jack. Also, Helldivers are part of SEAF, why wouldn't they be?
Anyway, my headcanon is that Brasch is just a paid actor to do propaganda videos.

Yeah, perhaps the answer is just "its a video game" 😅 in helldivers 1 there was the rank general and also admiral. In real life its an equal rank but in helldivers 1 general was a rather low level rank and admiral was high level...

Untrue, there aren't generals in the Navy, there are admirals, like the final ranks you achieve in Helldivers.

Im 100% on the idea he's a propaganda tool, maybe a real person (Edit: Like Captain America was in the first movie, doing show and stuff), but probably the Super Earth equivalent to Uncle Sam and the "I want you" posters

Pretty sure the game refers to the Hell Divers as a separate entity from the SEAF.

The question about generals is in reference to the lack of generals within the Helldivers, but there are admirals. Typical you either have generals OR admirals within a single military branch, not both. You know, like in the military (US) that the game is so clearly based on. Navy and coast guard have admirals, everyone else has generals.

So that's why someone might wonder if General Brasch is perhaps from another branch of super earths military.
