Weapon
I get the feeling that the weapons in the game are being tested on a minor difficulty. Because on the 9th difficulty, in order to kill a bug, sometimes you need to release all the guts from a shotgun. and this is an ordinary beetle.

Enemies do not get more health nor do they deal more damage with increased difficulty. Instead, the game increases the enemy count, enemy diversity, and gives some enemies different attacks.

sometimes, bettles and hunters takes several prety well centered shots yeah. Most of the time they die in one hit to the face.

I guess it's desync problem.

ontop of lowering the time between attacks. a hunter can eviscerate you in one go if you dont turn onto it as soon as it gets on you

on the beetle thing, im assuming your talking about the bile spewer, in which case, gotta consider the fact theres 2 version of those, the one you see on lower difficulty is less armored and doesnt use the "mortar attack" on higher diffulty they have medium armor plating and can bombard you from stupid far with mortar shots.

What do you mean HP doesn't increase? They are just increasing. The simplest example is Mega Beetle, Titan. at difficulty level 7 he dies from 1 shell, and at difficulty level 9 he needs 2 shells. And sometimes he survives.

Then your aim is off

At level 7 it takes 2 orbital raingun to take down a bile titan.
So i agree it seems there is not more health pool.

I can say they move around much more and also try to flank you so it is more difficult to land those head shots, so maybe there is the reason of the full clip gone on one small bug.

A perfect opportunity to train and deliver those perfect head shots.

It was already confirmed that there are no affects on health and damage by the difficulty you are playing on.

'250k players can do more playtesting in 15 minutes than 2 or 3 Q&A specialist can in a lifetime.' Helldivers 2 dev last week on Discord

So very true but now that they have solved (hopefully) the server issues, it is time for them to focus on weapons, content, Game Masters and other things. The good news? They will have LOTS of data to go through on what works and what does not. Bad news? Such will take time.

As for the weak spots? They are hit or miss, no pun intended. I have dropped a Bile Titan with 1 Spear and another took 3(!). Both of those were on Challenging Difficulty.
