Make helldivers immune to friendly fire in Pelican
It seems some trolls have figured out that you can just snipe people while they are immobile in the Pelican waiting to evac. Nothing is worse than doing a 20+ minute mission just to get some super rare samples and then have someone snipe you then walk into the pelican and not get them.

I don't mind the friendly fire in general, but when there is nothing you can do about it like in this case and it is only there for people to be trash I think it would make sense to make you immune.

Since there isn't any way to report/block players who do this or a way that they get punished for excessive friendly fire, and it is usually when you join a group of 2-3 friends who think it is a lol. I just think it is a change that wouldn't affect the game in any negative way except for toning down the toxic players of the community.

You can block the player in Social menu under the recently played. Really good for avoiding those who kick you out of a team near the end of missions and other greifers.

This currently only works if the toxic player typed in chat. If someone does not type in chat, they do not appear in the recently played tab under the Social menu. Thankfully, this is a known bug and will hopefully be fixed soon.

After testing with friends: Samples/req/metals/super credits are shared across all party members at the end of the mission.

People are team killing for no reason.

All collectibles are shared yes but samples, if not picked up after dying, do not remain collected. Some toxic players will teamkill everyone on the Pelican, not collect the dropped samples, and extract. Thus resulting in none collected. I've also had to deal with this before.

I have killed exactly one player using this method and the reason is that player kept abandoning the Operations therefore reducing the %. So I put the Traitorous scum down and told him the reason why I did it and told them that it actively sabotaging the Liberation and then left the lobby afterward (after the scoring)

I wish you were invulnerable in general in pelican. It's kinda lame that you evac only to be killed through the walls of the pelican by vomit because it doesn't actually provide cover.

Yeah, since most enemies aren't actively trying to attack you in the pelican, you are effectively invincible to a lot of them except maybe for stray attacks and missed shots.

If the devs want to make it so that you can die after boarding the pelican, they should go back to the design from Helldivers 1 (with doors on each side instead of one at the back) so that people can return fire at enemies outside.
