When will armors get fixed?

Now that servers have been upgraded, when will the other armors be useful? Right now they just slow you down and get you killed without offering any better defensive stats. Kinda insane the game shipped with such a integral feature broken. I really want to use the heavy armor but with how slow it is, and how big maps are, without giving you any more health or stagger resistance, it just sucks.

Also what does "extra padding" actually do? Give me numbers.

we know they know, what we dont know is why the ♥♥♥♥ was 1 of the 3 core stat missing from launch and hasnt been fixed yet. youd think it was just a minor bug from a last minute fix that would have been fixed in 30sec upon knowing it, not something that even with all the distraction from server panic, not a single programmer could look at and slip in a patch

Given that it hasn't been fixed yet, it's most likely not a minor bug.

Some people are already doing the hardest content in broken armor (not me lol). The devs might be taking it slow to determine upcoming balance changes.

I don't think I'll ever stop wearing light armor at this point though.

Wait, they do not work now? I thought only armor scoring is broken, so you cant rely on it to compare them.

all armor is the same 100.

They are happy with their server now. The server could handle 800k players at the same time. They will now begin to look into the game itself.

With all matchmaking issues still persist - i think it will take a week or two more to fix it.

Can't they "slip in a patch"?
Can't they just turn a knob, flip a switch, press a button?
I figured it was bugged immediately/its just a number, why cant they fix it as fast as I recognize it?
they've commented on working on it/getting to it in every patch note, maybe I should complain about it some more so they know its there!

they're working on it, like they and everyone has said. the game is playable and still fun currently, and they're not showing signs of slowing down on updates and bug fixes all the while we have some major content dropping soon they've worked on as well.

At this rate I'd say it'll be awhile. No real fixes have happened besides server stuff as far as I'm aware. There are a ton of minor and major bugs like getting stuck in place when interacting and so on. Armor is probably the least of their concerns

I want to agree with you, but they handled the server issues pretty fast I think. I am hopeful we will see some updates in the next few weeks or so. But yeah, there are some other critical things needing work too.
