Letters missing in the UI text?

Has anyone got this bug? Where the letters in the UI text is missing during a mission, just happens randomly, but then its stuck like than until you restart the game. Like quit game for me said Q IT G M or options said O T NS. All the text at the end summary screen was the same way missing a bunch of letters, victory at the end was V TO . Anyways just started happening recently, really weird UI bug. Luckily it hasn't done it to the arrow input prompts for calling down stratagems, because if some of those arrows were missing then most of us would have a problem lol.

I've also had this issue, The main thing i noticed is it only happens when I'm hosting and the HUD flickers throughout the session. It seems to be only a particular font though, as other things are complete such as the player's name.

I also submitted a ticket, just relaying to give validity and traction to the post.

Have the same issue since today, while joining other ppl games (didnt happen 1-2 days ago when I got the game).

i am having the same issue , only started after the last update last week , and it seems again it is when i am hosting . Have tried up dating graphics card and validating and turned the HUD background capacity off , but it keeps happening , when i play solo its fine.

try rolling back you driver to 546.65 if your using an nvida 10 series card, worked for me

I had it a few times. Maybe because I minimized the game a lot. When it happens I just restart the game.

Turning off the background opacity option and global screen space illumination fixed this for me iirc.

A comment from reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/QMGames/comments/1aug3nl/comment/kwm8as2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) suggests the force dx11 in the launch settings: via the steam launch option "--use-d3d11" (without quotes).

I am unsure of the performance impact, but it shouldn't be much as the game is CPU bound for most.

Ok this works extremely well, no bug and 20% more FPS !

DDU and going back to driver version 546.65 (Nvidia) made this issue stop for me.

It happened to me once and I thought that verifying my game files fixed it, but it could have just been the restart.
