So I made a voice attack profile.

Made a Helldivers 2 profile for voice attack. The link to the profile. [forum.voiceattack.com] Voice attack is a macro system used for assigning macros to voice commands (as the name implies). its not perfect, there's still some testing that needs to be done, but it does allow for the use of stratagems while on the run, and does so with about 90%(ish) accuracy. hope you enjoy - any critiques are welcome.

edit: no idea why the link went somewhere else, but I changed it back to my original voice attack profile.

God I want this 100% added in. Am disabled and NEED the Accessibility options for stratagems. It is just not there. My pinky HURTS from callin them in, specially during heavy reinforcement calling.

Try setting your key that is assigned, instead of HOLD, to TAP, so you only need to tap it and not hold it down.

hi really liking this!

most of my keybinds are default. i changed 'hold ctrl' to 'tap ctrl' and now the gem list wont even pop up.

when it was set to hold the gem menu pops up. when i change to tap, nothing pops up.

what am i doing wrong?

to be able to utilize the stratagems while on the run I switched the input keys from wasd to the keyboard directional input. otherwise the input could lagging behind the games fps or input speed. when you look at the console on the voice attack app it should have a green square next to the command that you're trying to input.

but I too sometimes have to contend with inputs not going through even though they're recognized on the voice attack app. I think its something I need to look into a bit more.

So you want to circumvent a core gameplay mechanic? I get that it feels awesome giving voice commands but circumventing the whole Stratagem system fells kinda cheaty to me. But you do what you have to to have fun I guess.

all my main gems i can call in 1 second flat on a slow day.

im not trying to cheese... theres streamdecks, macros, etc. for that.

but this is awesome to me for 2 reasons:
1> i can call out to my squadmates what im doing. teamwork +1
2> accessibility options are off the wall.

so yeah, im interested in it and actually hope devs add something like this. its a lot more teamworky than doing street fighter moves

Just the ability to help people with with disabilities or hand issues makes it worth it too. I'll never use them because I like punching the call sign in but I won't gate keep people making the game more enjoyable in a way that truly doesn't affect or hurt other players.

I do get this from people sometimes. and I don't really have a counter to the argument other than when the voice attack profile starts to fail commands and becomes almost meme worthy. but it seems to be working out for a lot of people so when it fails I think its more of a me issue and I have to adapt by using the traditional method or train my computer to understand me more. super handy for when I need to call in a hellbomb though.

I really shouldn't have access to this, because I'd make every single call in a reference to something.
The three mech call ins would be "It's a Gundam!", "Prepare for Titanfall." and "Black Pants Legion."
I'd end up with things like:
Orbital Rail Cannon - "The Emperor Protects!" (Ship's named Emperor of Humankind, natch.)
Orbital Gas Strike - "Haber-Bosch."
Walking Barrage - "The Price of a Mile."
120mm Barrage - "No one has the upper hand."
380mm Barrage - "Descend into Darkness."
Eagle Airstrike - "Six days of fire."
Eagle Napalm - "Operation Gomorrah."
Eagle 110mm Rockets - "Rocket Dragon."
Eagle Strafing Run - "You will see no more German planes."

Because I'm silly like that.
