-Did I mention fun gameplay yet?
How about you go get yourself a nice cup of Liber-TEA and try the game out?
Pretty simple
1 - All planets are different. Some are more barren while others are full of lakes or forests.
2 - Having 2 different factions to fight against with entirely different types of mobs makes it a lot more fun. Fighting each can feel like a different game.
3 - Changing loadouts to best suit how you play and the mission type adds a different element.
4 - The sheer amount of chaos in every mission!
But how Heldivers2 got to this hype:
1. There is Helldivers game - that released many years ago - and they had core audience before release Helldivers2.
This core audience did not develop initial interest, but they "keep hype alive" by giving positive comments like - "developers still have Hellfdivers servers running, so they will fix server issua with Helldivers2".
2. Initial hype - remember Halo infinite release - why Halo Infinite was successful on release - because "every other shooter released at that time was annoyingly bugged, when Halo Inf was working".
This Helldivers2 I think similar - but in "gameplay feeling" concept - peopel bored to see CS2/COD/Apex everywheere, and happy to play something else, and this game had enough to "click" and be "that game people wanted".
I think Helldivers2 still can end same as Halo Infinite... but will see.
