Way to disable SOS strategem
When playing with friends i often use SOS instead of Revive strategem what summons random people to my "friends only" game. Is there a way to disable it for myself?

It's a little silly of you to go "this community bad" because you refused to accept the initial answer.
The community is bad and toxic. "Get good" or "Stop having spastic hands" is never a good response to someone asking if there is a setting to disable SOS. And this is not an isolated case. Everywhere on Reddit and on Steam forums people are asking legitimate questions about the game and getting told "Just get good" or "You just need to stop sucking to counter X enemy". One of the most toxic communities i've seen in a recent videogame.
Okay, first... Why not just let an old thread die? It had been four days already. He has probably overcome his problem by now.

Second, the SOS is a completely different set of input. "How can you ... that up" is not an inconsiderate answer because... Well, you pretty much have to do it on purpose or spam all your keys hoping to hit the right sequence to mock that up. That's also actually part of the game skill set to memorise those stratagem so you can execute them faster or on the spot when you need them.

Third, as an added slap on the community face, you can actually hold the stratagem you just called in your hand before throwing it and it will tell you exactly what it is topish left of the screen and you can totally cancel it if you messed up or it is not the one you actually wanted. This is also how how you manage the scrambled campaign condition which make it so you don't always get the stratagem you called for. So for OP problem to arise he has to go thru two rather easily overcome conditions: 1) just do the right combination from the get go. If you can't do it fast enough just slow down. And 2) he probably just swing it on the spot the micro second he has it in his hands without an afterthought.

So as you can see this is pretty much a him problem. And asking it to be changed just because he can't personally put it with it is like asking to add an easy mode to the game. In other words, he's asking for a cheat.

And this is why this demand is met with so much hostility.

"Completely different code" One less input than Reinforcement. The rest is identical, meaning if you quickly input it during intense situations, you might press the UP command too early, locking you into the SOS command. This entire thread is ridiculous.

Tell me you only read the first sentence of a paragraph without telling me.

Just call it in when you land?

I can't imagine it being that challenging for devs to add option to disable/hide SOS from Stratagem list.

You say that after starting with that and then writing several paragraphs after.

Yes. That's usually how you write text.

the fact armor still broken to this day since the game release makes me sceptical that the dev could easily hide sos stratagem lmao

Yea it has happened to me a few times to when trying to quickly reinforce in stressful situations. It is dumb that it is only one key difference between the commands.
Feels bad wasting someones time by having them join on the accidental SOS just to be kicked instantly.

Posting about it here is probably useless tho. No sane dev would read thees forums, they are just to full of trolls and toxic people (or if they do read them they wont stay sane for long).

There's a private setting in your options.

If you are thinking about the "friends only" option, that does unfortunatly not work with the SOS.

You mean if you have private turned on then the SOS will still summon randoms?
