i've had a pretty good experience overall playing with randoms, but I've not fought on the higher difficulties beyond level 4 (Hard), to get the most out of the game, try seeing if you can do in game voice comm's, you might make some new in game friends that you'll be able to run with.
Even if you don't, the extra communication will go a long ways towards helping you and the randoms you run with complete the mission.
How's the in-game voice system? is it good? is it optional or mandatory?
Playing with randos is a mixed bag. You either get solo pros or just some guy who wants to blow things up. Can be fun. But as long as you are not the host there is a chance you will get kicked for no apparent reason.
after calling for extraction. find a nice corner to hide in. and lay down. and hide. voila no fightig required
