Still broken for AMD gpus?
Uninstalled the game like a week or two ago after the constant crashes on 7900XTX making the game unplayable. Is there any fix for it yet? I tried the beta driver that claimed to help, it just made it crash even faster actually. Dunno if the game itself has been patched to fix it yet but I doubt it.

i dunno but i keep getting crashes today 3 out 3 games. Games freeze than game stops playing out of nowhere no error messages brings me back to windows.
Run the game in DX11, my buddy had the exact problem, but adding this line in the steam launch options helped him "--use-d3d11"

Remove the ""

Also remove anything in this folder %APPDATA%\Arrowhead\Helldivers2\shader_cache which is the DX12 shaders before starting it again

So I have a 5700xt and I'm using Driver 24.1.1 without any issues. There was one period of time where I was crashing constantly. I updated drivers (to 24.1.1), disabled anything that wasn't anti-lag and Imagine sharpening in the driver, and toggled some graphics settings in game down to low then back to what they were before.

Idk which of the three fixed it but I'd try that and see if you have any luck

my buddy has a 7900XTX and was crashing nearly every game as well. Reverted his drivers to the previous drivers and it fixed the issue. I think the issue is the drivers, not the game. I believe 24.1.1 is broken for 7000 series GPU's
I've got a 5700xt and had issues when the game first released. Turned off Anti-Aliasing and all my crashes stopped. Also currently on 24.1.1

bought yesterday I have a 7900XTX and crashing constantly, couldn't even complete the tutorial.
Turned off AA and Global illumination as suggested, still crashed.
Rolled back drivers, still crashed.
Lowered graphics settings, and turned off AA and Glaobal illuminations again, no crashing!
Today i changed settings to High, and turned off the two optiond again, but this time unplugged my second monitor which is running via USB and still no crashing for about 2 hours so far.
Want to play on max settings so im gona change them back to ultra and see what happens

I have a 6700XT with driver version 23.7.1 and have had no issues.

This is why you should always avoid AMD GPU's. I get that it's not AMD's fault but developers will always put Nvidia first. Every time someone says this AMD GPU is on sale, or it's just as good as the equivalent Nvidia GPU, always remember that you will be a second class citizen with AMD. It's never worth the headache. Always go Nvidia if you can, even if its a little bit more $$$.

Only effects the 7 series AMD cards and most the 7900XTX and some 7800XTs.

This is a technical support thread, not an invitation for buying advice.

I've run my AMD GPU for years and this is the first time I've ever had persistent crashing and like you said it might just be the game's side. My bud who runs a 3080ti has had way more instability in games than I've ever had.

Install the 24.2.1 drivers. Not had a single crash on my 7900 XTX so far.
