Idk which of the three fixed it but I'd try that and see if you have any luck
Turned off AA and Global illumination as suggested, still crashed.
Rolled back drivers, still crashed.
Lowered graphics settings, and turned off AA and Glaobal illuminations again, no crashing!
Today i changed settings to High, and turned off the two optiond again, but this time unplugged my second monitor which is running via USB and still no crashing for about 2 hours so far.
Want to play on max settings so im gona change them back to ultra and see what happens
Only effects the 7 series AMD cards and most the 7900XTX and some 7800XTs.
Run the game in DX11, my buddy had the exact problem, but adding this line in the steam launch options helped him "--use-d3d11" Remove the ""

I've run my AMD GPU for years and this is the first time I've ever had persistent crashing and like you said it might just be the game's side. My bud who runs a 3080ti has had way more instability in games than I've ever had.
