Please, check your firing modes.
Holding [reload] will bring up the firing menu, which allows some guns to access different firing modes and scopes. Some of them greatly improve a weapons damage (Railgun) and some make previously bad guns viable in the higher difficulties (Stalwart). So please remember to check the firing modes for each gun and play with them a bit before you go saying certain weapons suck.

Please keep in mind that swiching railgun firing mode improves damage a lot, but also means that aiming for too long makes it explode, destroying the weapon and killing the holder. It's kinda important. My hearth can take only so many people exploding into pieces.

I did not know it actually destroyed the gun, I've never overcharged the railgun before even though I use Unsafe mode more.

Well, when you swich the modes. you have to keep charging it for quite a while, but when it goes boom, it goes boom pretty hard, haha.

overcharged railgun 1 shots almost everything in the game with a headshot.

Just remember to release the trigger after you count to 3. It gets easy to forget you will die, as you shoot the hell out of everything, haha.

Wish the autocannon had the ability to tune its fire rate down as its recoil is really high for the fire rate in full auto (it is generally the only gun i chose to run in semi auto for this reason).

True but it's not meant to, it's a crowd control weapon and has it's niche. The Breaker being able to do everything super effectively has made people not realize this is a game where your setup should be based on your other weapons and teammates faults. Once it gets nerfed alot more weapons and setups will become viable. You're not suppposed to have a setup that can do literally everything super effectively (Breaker + Railgun + Shield Generator + Light Armor), you're supposed to have a flaw so your teammates can cover it.

If you go prone and have armor that reduces recoil, the autocannon on full auto is pretty manageable
