7800x3d + 4090 - ~60 fps on ship with native resolution (4K) and low settings

Why is this happening and should I refund? My friend with an AMD GPU doesn't seem to have a problem.

Win 11

And i have over 200 FPS on the ship

First you have to check whether you are in the GPU or CPU limit.
GPU Limit 99% Usage
CPU Limit ONE SINGLE Core is at 99% usage

If neither is true, then either
PC is running too hot
RAM is full
Driver or OS Issue

Or perhaps most likely, the game uses your iGPU in the 7800x3 processor instead of your RTX 4090
In the in-game menu you can change which GPU should be used.

It's at 97% usage of GPU 23% CPU on the ship. 52 fps with settings on high and native 4k.

And it's selected the 4090.

Dad shouldn't be. The card should be able to maintain 120+ fps in 4K.

Can you read out the clock frequency? Should be ~~2500 MHz
Edit: You might also want to check the temperature of the GPU. Anything below 84-88°C is normal.

If everything is in the green, there is probably something wrong with the software /Game/Driver/OS.

But if you don't have any problems in other applications, it's probably Helldivers or the graphics driver

I would then say, refund the game ...

the game started lagging and stuttering for me for some reason and i was doing fine before

Fixed it. Apparently it was my SSD somehow, or a reinstall (on a different SSD) fixed it. Thanks for the help.`

Didn't think the SSD would be a problem with 600gb out of 4 TB left. Maybe it was just the reinstall that did it.

Maybe error or corruption during installation. It can happen sometimes.
But it's good that it works now 👍
