It happens fast that you accidently kill your mates, even if you know what you are doing. It could also have been a griefer, sure. But even then a kick isn't justified. Nobody likes griefers. Nonetheless everyone still gets rewards in the end. Now if you kick the griefer, you are the one who negatively influenced a teammember the most: You kicked him. Regardless of wether or not he teamkilled on purpose that single time in the end, these guys still get rewards. The one you kick won't get anything for the whole time he was playing with you.
Now if a griefer starts a teamkilling spree straight from the start, or stealing stratagems over and over, simply trying to ruin other peoples fun at all costs, than you would have a point. But that doesn't seem to have been the case.
In your case the kick was absolutely overkill, without even much thought you put into what could have been the intention behind that teamkill. Let alone if its fair regardless of intention.
2nd one sounds like the opposite of "not a teamplayer".
For some, a teamplayer is a person who is glued to the team non stop. Literally. Only exception is splitting up for tactical reasons after the team communicated about it. Though others who go for straight lone-wolfing think they are a teamplayer as well no matter the coordination. They want to get the team the objectives, so the rest of team can focus on something else. They skip the communication part and think its good and more time effective for everyone.
So, who is the teamplayer now? I tell you who the teamplayer is:
They are all teamplayers in their very own way. Not everything requires communication, coordination or other personal requirements to become a teamplayer in this game. As long as you do your part and the team is successfull, the whole team will benefit from it and gets rewarded in the end.
This kick wasn't justified either.
Tldr: Both kicks weren't justified.
Needs more context in my opinion, sometimes ♥♥♥♥ happens.
2nd
Happened to me yesterday.
Joined a difficulty 4 mission with 3 new players and just cleared the side objectives and a few outposts on my own.
Never died or called in supplies and like 10 min in the mission I was kicked.
If you don't like players doing that I would say warn them in chat, since coming from playing difficulty 7 or up its pretty normal to split up.
Pretty sure bot drops and bug breach has a cooldown or something, so if someone gets a bug breach, the other 3 people are in the clear to do objectives really easily.
This game is different...
It's not as serious, as other games in terms of teamkills. That being said, if a guy drops a bomb accidently on you, maybe once or twice, get over it. It happens. If he's doing it all the time on purpose -> kick him.
One thing which is definitely more of a non-teamplayer-death sentence, is, when there are guys in the team, which are gonna loot your stuff, before you get back in, after a death. I don't mean the samples, these are shared, i am speaking of the special weapons. It's an unwritten law in this game and a total no-go!
If that would happen in my game: i would warn him. If he does it again -> kick.
(To be more precise: i am not talking about the last clutch seconds before pick up, i am speaking of a normal death mid game...)
