need first-person/scope view to be accessible when using "press" or toggle ads

It's not intuitive at all though. The obvious place it should be is in the keybinds menu, where you should be able to change the 'first person aim' toggle from 'press' to 'hold'. But you can't. It's in an entirely difference section of the options menu.

Gameplay settings is the obvious place, keybinds is the second place I would check.

Don't make it sound complex when it's not. It's in the gameplay tab, where many other games have it.

Dynamic mode and Remember aim mode doesn't fix this. Sometimes situations demand first or third person aiming and you have to be able to swap between the two freely and should be able to toggle ADS rather than having to hold since the option is there. I understand the devs are tied up with stabilizing the game but I'm not sure if the bug has been acknowledged by them.

yes there is, but it does not help with allowing you to access the scope/first-person-view while you are using toggle instead of hold for aim down sights,

both the features you list do not help with being able to access first-person/scope-view while using toggle aim-down-sights, it actually says that it wont work in an info bubble in the settings,

If you hold Reload you can even change the zoom of your scope on things like the DMRs

perhaps before commenting you should enter the settings and see what I am talking about, this will require you to use toggle/press and entering a match to see that the settings being changed does not allow use of scope while aiming down sights set to toggle/press,

yup, there are multiple sections of the settings, none of them allow what I'm looking for, an info bubble in the settings actually says outright that fps/scopes cant be used while toggle/press is being used to aim down sights,
