CPU Usage 100%

What's up with the sudden surge in CPU utilisation? The game was working fine yesterday; what happened today? Is anyone else noticing this?  All other games are working fine.

So "officially" nothing has been posted regarding this issue. I have been unable to play the game due to the same bug my CPU skyrockets to 100C, i have looked up many tips and tricks and still havent had any luck resolving the issue. Tested it out with every other game i own on my PC and NONE even cause my CPU to touch 63C

From what I've been seeing it's an Intel thing with the last patch. My Ryzen 9 runs between 65-70. I'm sure they will get it fixed and hopefully soon. We need you on the battlefield.

Not sure if my CPU was at 100% but it did keep kicking into high gear and was making my PC excessively hot. I just limit the FPS in Nvidia and in game, which I just found out today they add. I believe you go to display settings in game and limit it there too.

Only thing that worked for me was setting it to 60 FPS and it is cool and quiet now. I tried setting it to 144 the same as my monitor refresh but it was ramped up with that so for now I just leave it at 60 FPS and no more problems.

That sounds about right. Been so long since I played with a game that didn't cap fps by default I forgot to check if that was the problem. Been doing that since launch for me.

I just noticed my CPU temp was up to 70 and closed the game, kinda sketchy lol

13700K here i can cinebench and peek at 88°C this game has mine at 97°C. i have to run fans at full speed to play or i crash.

It's the anticheat.

A way I've found to mitigate is to close every background program you can get away with. It'll limit what the anticheat can scan in your memory and won't hog as much CPU.

Even more reason to get rid of that garbage.

I know they have been focused on the population capacity issues, but hardware strain is real. They need to look into optimization for GPU and CPU, something is wrong.

My system gets hotter in this game than any of the previous many I have played recently. I have capped my fps in my software and in game... granted its at 144, I will try 60 and see if my heat drops on both GPU and CPU.

I have an R7 3700X 32GB RAM and a 3070TI, I was getting high temperatures as well and was worried I'd have to change a few things like getting a new heatsink for the CPU.

I have 6700xt, 16gb ram, 3700x stock (not overclocked) keeps at 50-65% when playing. Really weird, probably has something to do with anticheat. But who knows.

Cpu at 40-50% and between 60C-70C, it seems weird because i used to have 28-35% before with only discord opened
