You know, you have mission to pump oil. You know why? Because bug bodies are like a fossil fuel. Once we win the war against bug, we'll start breeding them again for fuel and cycle of war starts again.

Automatons? Terrorists? They're just some crazy guys who loves replacing flesh with metal. They probably chilling in their own planets, but damn they have some nice factories. We should take those to strengthen economy.

Illuminati? They have nice lazer/plasma weapons. They asking for a peace? How about we plant a false flag just like with automatons, saying illuminatis have mass destruction weapons and take their tech for ourselves while we conquer them?

This universe is full of enemies, especially who're not in our control, but it is also full of opportunities to grab.
