Why the hell would you rate the game negatively because of an anti-cheat present in almost any online game. Its part of the online gaming experience. Don't like anti-cheats? Don't play online function games.

By the way GameGuard for HD2 was beaten by a simple game trainer in the first couple days of it's launch the very hacks the devs used as a example happened just days after launch.

Surprise, because it's a cat and mouse game and always has been.
You close one down, another one finds a way around it.

Without anti-cheats at all hacks are rampant. 57% of all gamers admit to using cheats in surveys, so if some of that can be prevented, great.

You will survive. The rest of us that's been gaming since the early 90ies have.

The problem is the Antichewat in question hasn't really stopped anything in almost a decade at most it might stop cheat engine but there's been a workaround for well over 5years which was never patched all while the anticheat in question requires more access to your PC than most other anticheats that do a much much better job at well at everything this anticheat does.
This anticheat is basically the bottom of the barrel of antichets at most a anticheat should at least stop the free cheats like trainers which most do that but this anticheat doesn't even stop the most basic stuff.

I've joined a couple of matches with some guys with chinese names I couldn't read.

They were using the recoiless as a machinegun firing several dozens of rockets per minute.

I don't think this thing is doing much.

That cheat was in the game day one and they used cheat enigne of all things to do it because there's been a half decade old workaround for cheat engine that was never fixed.

lol one of the first lines in this guide is more/less "I know what I'm talking about because I develop cheats." And we all know that we can trust people who openly admit to being dishonest, yes?
Taking that with the fact that a lot of folks complaining about the rootkit have bans on their own accounts, it seems like a LOT of the people fear-mongering over otherwise legitimate companies theoretically invading our privacy might have ulterior motives...

I would be perfectly fine with Battleye or EAC being in the game - but not some shady asian Free MMO garbage anticheat

will patiently wait till they remove it and change to BE or EAC - it will happen eventualy

Good for you, too bad for this company because this irresponsible decision cost them a lot of sales. Why do you care about the ratings any ways, work for the company? Just enjoy your game and stfu, nobody is holding it or you hostage for playing or care what you have to say.

No sane person would stop playing a game because of a generic anticheat.

There is no reason for anti-cheat in a PVE game if done correctly.

I actually do get complaining about it; mainly because there are cheaters anyway. Unless there's a bug that lets people get 99 samples and rapid fire disposable rockets I don't know about.

Hope so. Im guessing they had no idea game would sell this well and so they went with the cheapest AC available. Now that they have plenty of revenue, they really should switch to a reputable and more problem free AC.

The number of people that would buy the game if they did would probably more than offset the price they pay for it. I have so many probs with game guard and game not booting if I am running MSI afterburner that I would refund if I wasnt over the timeframe to do so. Even when I dont turn it on I cant get past "game guard failed to update" error sometimes and get into game.
