What is the Super Citizen Edition and why are they pulling it out of the shop?

If I had to guess, they might be swapping out "unlock the first premium warbond" with "1000 super credits"

Not sure why it would need to be pulled for that though, I can't see what their backend looks like

Is the stuff from "Super Citizen Edition" any usefull or is the base game enough? Thinking about buying it right now.

It might be because if you already saved up the credits to get the Warbond you don't get those credits refunded .

That would be my bet because right now if you already got the Warbond in game before the DLC you don't get a refund in the credits and it might be a steam thing to change what's in DLCs so it could just be a time thing.

I was wrong not to buy it. The primary weapon is was my favorite as I picked it up from a co-player that died and it was best thing after the nerf of the Breaker shotgun.
No indication that you can't get 'minigame in the ship' just by playing or that there is content or equipment locked to others. If people are no happy with the value, that's one thing, but no one tells in the review section the fact, that it's best starting equipment way into the early stages, unique armor look, and items that you can't unlock elsewhere or elsehow but with credit card. It's a bit p2w(change 'win' into advantage, since it's not pvp related).

So why have I not bought it yet, cause I am over lvl 50 and have everything else now and would still buy, but not for full price if the unlock of 1st warbond is not changed into same value of credits instead or a coupon to unlock the new ones, so I can use up some of those credits on fancy armors from in game store.

But a month more of those bad game braking patch updates that crash your game and I will leave it for a year or not come back. I am feed up with crashes and stratagems not working cause of 'W' key not working.

Democracy Protects is in the free warbond, so it doesn't matter aside from cosmetics. The Knight and Stratagem Hero not being available anymore ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks though.

Sad part is that the Knight is unlikely to get any buffs now that it's unavailable. It really needs a couple more mags and not to have only a 5 mag Resupply for it to be a really good and fun primary.

They are removing it from the SEARCH so that people don't buy the "Super Citizen Edition" for 20 and then complain why their game doesn't work. You can still buy it with the bundle which makes sure that you have the base game too before buying it. After seeing the posts in this thread I guess foolproofing the purchase process makes perfect sense for the community.

Nah mate, they will make a new "upgrade pack" to sell it again, with first warbond changed in some way to be relevant at any time, it'll be ok.
