The thing is, there's basically nothing to actually spend Super-credits on, just 2 helmets and 2 pieces of armour. It rotates every either 48 or 72 hours, can't remember which, and usually, the options suck. I bought today's armour because it's the kind I want, but I've saved up like 600 Super Credits just playing the game and going around searching for samples and other items.
I've only played a few missions and got plenty of new weapons
1. You can earn super credits by just playing the game. Several side objectives that occur can reqard them.
2. You can get some from the warbond pass
3. You ONLY use super credits on the super credit store cosmetic items, and to unlock the second warbond pass. They have no other use.
4. You cannot exchange, or use super credits to purchase medals, xp, renquisitions, etc. Thus no pay to win
Is it perfect? No. No such thing. Is it far less predatory than normal? Yup.
Whatever you do, don't play Darktide. No meaningful content updates except regular clockwork rotation of the FOMO overpriced mtx shop.
Then again, this game has the option to even buy anything hidden pretty deep and ironically enough seem to not bring attention to it at all, while showering you with the currency while playing.
