Last night we used Stealth to avoid Patrols because they were mostly consisting of those Walkers
The first Helldivers had a far better stealth presence, you could genuinely ghost around the map doing objectives and avoiding the enemies, then use a bunch of Stratagems to assist when you call for evac. In 2, you can't really do that as much, the enemy call reinforcements from behind cover too much, whereas in the first game they had to see you themselves, which meant you could see and subsequently shoot them.
Snake can use a cardboard box to stealth, but if he's found, then that cardboard box is non-existent.
If you use a ghillie suit in other military shooter and the action start, it's not like the ghillie suit will help you until you lose your enemy.
Also moving crouching helps with not being noticed.
