Guys, it will be something obvious, thanks in advance.
But how to destroy that automaton sauron eyes, that keep spamming droppods? hellbomb strat, that given when you near it-not worked for me.
Im know im missing something, help pls.

500kg bomb at the base of the tower or hellbomb. Or stay out of the red scan range. You are actually fairly safe when less than 50m from the outpost because it won't actively look down.

Ok, thanks, seems i just missplaced hellbombs then. Just love to fully clear maps, and there was a problem with that exact location

They in fact do no see through rocks.

Pretty sure I've taken one out with an Orbital Precision Strike.

Hellbomb does work on them, though I've found the ground to be weirdly "bouncy" when trying to place the hellbomb at these locations.

I have had this issue too. I usually go right up to the top, right next to the detector tower. Then watch in frustration as my called in strategems hit the ground, bounce, start sliding and speed up and then either fly off into the void or sink into the ground and disappear.

Is this a bug? or intended?

The hellbomb will stick to the small patch one level down; and will destroy the tower from there though.

Of course you can't place the hellbomb in some cranny behind the tower, the devs made it so you can only place it where the bots can shoot it from a far, because of course they can somehow shoot to pieces an armed hellbomb without detonating it.
So, yea say "♥♥♥♥ it" and send a 500kg

If you are in range of "enemy artillery", you can convince them to shoot at you, ie: the detector tower and blow it up for you.

The 500kg is effective point blank

The hellbomb is the easiest and all around 'expected outcome' ... IF THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOMB WOULD STOP BOUNCING AWAY.

Haven't tried quasar, recoilless, or eats on it. Generally no weak spot that I am aware of except giving it the ol boom boom.

Throwing a 500Kg, an orbital laser, or a precision strike at it's base from outside the fort will usually do the job, otherwise you'll need to storm the fort and drop a hellbomb in. Precision strike is the harder one to do, it needs to land near perfectly for the shot tot take the tower out. Orbital is the easiest as along as you can make sure the laser sweeps over the tower since it will not directly target it. The 500kg is a bit inconsistent, but still easier to nail relative to the precision strike.

Artillery strikes (walking, 120, 380) might be able to do it too, but I'm not sure if it's possible I've never been able to get direct hits every time I've tried them, lol. Getting the strats to land in the right spot takes some practice, but it's pretty easy to eventually get the hang of it.

Also, don't just bum rush it when approaching, especially alone, wait for the eye to do a rotation past you while hiding behind cover, then sneak in, and hug the walls, then chuck in your strat of choice or storm the fort. If you have a good aim and a servo arm armor you can often just dive throw the strat without even needing to get anywhere near the walls.

If you get spotted by the eye, don't force the engagement, or you'll likely get fixed by the nigh infinite bot drops, and likely get stuck in a death loop unless you and your team gets lucky. Eff of and try to hit it from a different direction after evading the reinforcements and any responding patrols.
