What CPU should I upgrade to?
I have an i5 12400f now but it is too slow to maintain 80fps, I need something that can hold on at least 120fps.

They have stated the game is using abnormally high amounts of peoples cpus. Why waste money just because of one game’s optimization issues?

7800x3D system or a 12900/13900 maybe...

what resolution are you playing at?
what GPU are you running?

Just looking online even the 4070Ti struggles with this game at higher resolutions

I play on 1080P with my RX 6700XT and RYZEN 7 5700X on HIGH with barely 50-60 FPS without upscaling tech, and the game uses both to the near maximum, 95% for GPU and 100% CPU, Some tech geek said I need a better CPU...

Even people with high end rigs constantly get told to upgrade as soon as they have something a few months old only.

Fact is, its the game that is not well optimized. We all in the same boat regardless of specs.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D seems to be a good value.

Ryzen 7 1700 and RX 6700 10GB (nonXT) - 1440p, ultra quality, medium. I get about 70 FPS.

To that I agree completely, this spec should be able to run games at a comfortable performance with good graphic fidelity on 1080 for at least another 1-2 years. Even my old RX 470 (4GB) lasted way longer, 2017-2022, I just recently upgraded my GPU and CPU last year, and it's not even being remotely close to being 1 year and the performance I got despite the money I spent is dogs**t

Yea its been like that for decades now. People get tricked into buying new fany hardware just to get disappointed with the performance. Minimum/optimum specs under games are nothing but marketing lies imo.

At the end of the day its pure luck if wether or not a game runs well on your rig.

Did the devs really admit this?
