Kicking people for joining your SOS Beacon.

I don't know what was going on tonight, but I got kicked 3 times within seconds of joining an SOS. No I was not under levelled (generally I am higher than most I join), and no I did not do something stupid (I was kicked usually with in seconds of touching down).

If you don't want people in your game maybe not trigger an SOS?

Logged into the game for one more round, immediately ended up in a squad higher level than me being overwhelmed by Automatons everywhere, it was crazy. Kind of fun but I got blown off a tank half way across the entire map and ambushed on my way back. Drop pods cannot blow up tanks.

Just logged in to check and all planets are still reading 0 helldivers and matchmaking is stuck on searching.

Actually they can. Just takes more than one hit to them

are you lying? last I checked (three hours ago) matchmaking is broken again

Matchmaking has been working for me for the last 2 days. I can see other peoples missions including SOS beacons, and instant action usually finds something in 5-15 seconds.

Also why would I lie about this?

Nah it's broken AGAIN. Can't join quickmatches and half the time you get suddenly kicked. Only once I was kicked on purpose cause the idiot didn't run away from the hellbomb with everyone else at the very end of the mission. For a game all about democracy, wheres the fking democracy vote to kick?

Probably a bug lol. Even low levels don't get kicked really sense at the end of the day, this game is just meant for everyone at every skill level to have fun.

Some of my friends are extremely dumb and SOS instead of reviving. But we haven't kicked anyone from SOS.

I don't think you even need to put down an SOS beacon to have people join you as long as you keep whoever can join you open,
The SOS beacon just puts you on the top of the line.

Yeah, I've had the same issue while responding to sos . My character is level 21. I'll get kicked usually while my character still has frost on him from the pod.

Why do people insult or kick within seconds after enabling public matchmaking? Online multiplayer games are a double edged sword in this regard. You might encounter friendly people or some of the most disrespectful imaginable. It might also be a bug considering the game still has issues in it's current state. Helldivers 2 is a great game though once you dive into it.

Ya it just gets irritating after a while (particularly when I get 2 or 3 kicks in a row). It is fun helping those who are in the thick of it in this game.
