Did you notice it was at 3 before you did anything?
YOU ARE PART OF A GREATER WHOLE CITIZEN
And that is why we are failing. People are like "I don't want to do that is I don't have my little candy for it".
Instant gratification is all that matters to them,
I don't know how it will go in HD2, but consequences of not completing those can be dire on the Galactic war (I don't remember exactly, but in HD1, there were rewards for winning the war)
In all fairness, people tend to play games FOR that little candy. If you're talking about doing these missions just because they need to be done, then it's work. And I for one get enough work in my day to day life, so it's not what I want to do with my free time. The other mission types are more enjoyable and tend to give the player a more rewarding experience for playing the game.
