Low FPS Issue - Need Help

Hi!
First, my problem then my specs.

Problem:
The usual low FPS issue. 30-40 FPS no matter the settings. Drivers are updated and everythibg else on my pc is shut down - set the priority for Helldivers to be high on task manager and still no change.

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF slightly overclocked.
AMD RX480 8gb
Asrock B450 Steel Legend
16GB 3600 Speed XMP enabled RAM

Previous experience:
I’ve run games like Star Wats Battlefront 2 on max settings with 0 issues, Apex, RDR 2, and almost every other major game you can think of. Even if a game has had low fps on my pc, lowering the graphics has always helped, unlike with Helldivers.

Very strange issue, plus the additional anti-cheat that has been set to low priority in my task manager.

No recourses are used at 100%, making it even stranger.

AMD cards have a known issue with the game. I don't have an AMD so I can't really comment. You might get some luck searching "AMD" on the discussions.

I have there's some setting you can turn off to improve it, something to do with shadows and screen space lol. Try turning that off.

To put it simply, your rig is pretty dated.

You may have gotten decent performance in past games, but it can't be the case forever.

Tried everything man, its not cuz of the settings, I think it’s an issue with their engine, backend, or anticheat… I just want to post about it so it’s known and it might catch attention. thank you thought

Strongly doubt it. I mena yes, its not a new rig with a RTX 4000 series, I know that, but the fps I’m getting doesn’t make ANY sence. Just look at their minimum requirements and the other fellow soldiers having this issue with RTX 3000 series for example…

You have 2015 PC trying to run a 2024 game. I am surprised the game even runs at all on that HW.

I have RX480 powering my toaster display. You are lucky you can still game on that thing at all. I would say it's definitely why your FPS is low.

i7 4070 32gb ram 2k ultra 100+ fps, try something like that

Never had issues with new games, first time it has happened. From The Finals to Read Dead, Forza 5, Total War Warhammer, Control and many more.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that wasn’t the case. It might be old, but games run 100% of the time and not on low settings just to mention that - high or medium

How do u explain the same issue that people with mid/high end pcs have???? It just doesn’t make sence

Привет, Сань! Советую посмотреть на программу losless scaling, недавно туда добавили frame generation, помимо того, что уже было. Поможет с фпс.

not at all, 16gb is not enough for 2024 games, just cause when i play this, it takes like 18 from ram

You might be right, but why do they recommend a minimum of 8 and a recommended 16 - all that being at even a lower speed than mine and ddr4? Doesn’t make any sence to me. I mean another 16gb is like 50€. Never happened to be before, ever
