Bad players that piss me off

1) They defend an area of nothing (not an objective, not a nest, not an extraction point). They keep fighting enemies in area of nothingness instead of moving on to the next objective. They send out all of their turrets and stratagems to... gain ground on a plain of nothingness.
2) They always and only fight enemies, they don't progress the objectives. Despite being next to a terminal, or even just a button to send out civilian. No, they are not going to press it to progress the objective. Because the enemy 50 meters away is the highest priority. They won't do the task that leads to mission completion until you do.
3) They alert every enemy base/patrol with distant gunshots, even when you are obvious trying to be stealth. They end up causing bug hole breaches and dropships in a pointless encounter that leads to nowhere.
4) They are the first person to arrive at the extraction and not call the Palican. They are sitting on the extraction, full supply drops and turrets. But they do not call the extract or follow through making sure extraction is called. They are just there to give you a false impression they are waiting to extract, just to deceive the team ending up wasting precious minutes for extraction resulting in the whole team getting swarmed.


So please:
1) Always think about the objectives, don't fight pointless battles.
2) If you are in the position to progress the objective task, do it. It is your priority. No matter how many enemies you kill, you cannot kill them all forever.
3) If things don't attack you, don't shoot at them. If you can finish a mission stealth, do it. Do not engage enemies unless they are defending a place you need to go in, or if you are very sure you can overpower them extremely rapidly before they call reinforcement.
4) If you are the first person arriving at the extraction point, either call extraction immediately or make sure it is called at a time that is appropriate (e.g if you want to wait for the full team to arrive). Don't just sit back and do nothing, because in the heat of battle (especially trailing teammates are trying to run away from mobs) it is easy that people assume you have already called extraction. If you don't do it, the whole party maybe defending the extraction point for nothing.

I've had a few level 1 helldivers join my game I died used the last life the level 1 decided to not wait 1.30 seconds till I can respond again so he threw a grenade and killed himself and it ended the mission 😤

I just carried a team that did 1-3 of what you just said, and waited till i got on the extraction ship. stopped and kicked me then got on... Some of these players should be left on the planet.

If you are the host, kick.
If not...then some accidental misfire and airstrike then call them down where you need them will have to do.

As long as it's not civ extract and it's less than 7 difficulty I just let them. A couple of my friends play like this and I just run and do objectives solo elsewhere while they take a lot of the heat. Especially easy on bug missions.

Or just get off of quickplay and LFG for some more experienced players on Discord and Reddit. Honestly I don't think anything beyond 7 is possible without good communication--especially civ extract if people aren't running EMS mortars and smokes.

I just block people that constantly kick others out of games.
If you want a private game, make a private game.

Some people might not be comfortable having a horde follow them. They might be wearing slower armour and can't keep up with the try-hards. Look behind yourself and see if they're ok. They might not know how to solve X objective. They might be out of ammo.

There's no i in team.

With that mindset you may as well only play with friends or ask for a refund. I'll start pulling aggro just to spite people like you who think they can tell other people what to do.
