"client side mod (visual) means only those who have downloaded same files will see their armours changed as you do. they won't see modded armors if they dont have same files installed. about ban...unless they run some checks that notices some files added/tempered, they might give out a warning when game launches, but nothing so far in my own experience. might change later if game devs decide to be annoying."

There is a tool used to disable gameguard if you so desire to test without being caught.
