- 110 rockets for slow titans.
- 500kg/Precision cos a chance to miss my target gives me a rush.
- RCannon for fast chargers but OP for titans.
- OLaser cos you're SOL and got nothing intelligent left.
- Quasar cos you're prepared.
- AC/GL "I'm helping by removing the bellysac"
Personally (blitzer - but stick close to iBreaker teammate(shriekr/stalkr), GPistol, iNade.):
- (for bug run'n'guns): Quasar/Rover/Airstrike/RCannon
- (for bug eradicates): AC/110/OLaser/(Airstrike/Gas)
- (for VIP EVac) something different
- (for scientist Evac) different again.
With the upgrade you get 2 bombs and the cooldown is lower then the railcannon, if you know how to use it you got a 90% chance for a kill, also quasar is not bad, shoot then run and then shoot again.
If you want to know how to use a 500 kg watch a guide on youtube ore somethning, itsnhard to explain here.
But i can try:
You need to throw the 500kg between you and the titan and force him to spew on you, so just stand still, then doge the spew and the titan should me on top of your 500kg marker, then its a kill, can someone explain this better?
500kg is the best solution for them. Throw it at its feet, bait a stomp/spew attack, and run away. If it whiffs, try again.
Precision Orbital is the second best. If there's a mission modifier that reduces accuracy it's kind of a wash though.
EAT/Quasar/Recoilless (in order of goodness) kill in two headshots.
I bring all three of these to every bug mission, with the remaining stratagem slot for something anti-horde (usually Rover)
...and sometimes the vermin will come alive out of the big boom, but you know this game, it's what it is. But it will be on shambles and you can kill it with almost everything, grenades, etc.
Same can be done with quasar. 2 headshots or 1 shot to the side with 2 impact nades
Orbital Railcanon is a precise, quick, finishing move or an opening attack. Recoilless, Quasar, EAT, to the face follow up usually result in a kill.
500 KG *can* kill a bile titan in one, but you have to be precise.
I don't know the exact hitbox, but two shots from any of the aforementioned anti armour will kill in 2 headshots if you hit *right.*
I don't know how it works, but Precision Strike *definitely* hits harder, but you'll have a harder time landing it on a bile titan.
(edit: silly me, i forgot autocannon sentries. If an autocannon sentry targets a bile titan it *can* put the work in.)
If you do not want to take out the sacks then a railgun shot + quazar/eat/recoilless to the face will kill it. 500kg or Orbital Precision Strike are capable of killing a Titan in 1 hit.
the autocannon sentry is great against them, and since the titan will get aggro'd by the sentry, it's gonna walk towards it, meaning the sentry will keep hitting it in the face. it usually takes 9 shots, but the AC setry fires in 3-round bursts.
I had a few games where everyone was carrying a quasar cannon, and we took out titans as soon as they showed up. it didn't even need any coordination. we just kept shooting them and they went down in a couple of hits.
also, I'm not a 100% on this, but they appear to be more vulnerable during the animation where they climb out of a bug breach. I managed to kill a couple of them simply by calling an eagle airstrike on them, but it's possibly because it was hit by two blasts at once.
I saw a lot of people have success using EATs and recoilless rifles, but I never had much luck with those, even after shooting them directly in the mouth. I usually just look if the titan has a wound on its back, shoot it there and it works.
If the things needs to die like.. RIGHT NOW for some reason: orbital railgun and hope someone else does the same or similar.
