Personal orders

Whoever decides these orders needs to be fired. Its to the point that 9 out of 10 orders you get are just plain annoying and tedious to try and do. Personal orders are the only thing even getting me to log in anymore and more often than not I just immediately exit the game when I see what the personal order is. I want to play this game, but I need it to be fun AH.

Let me get is straight, the only reason you play the game is to complete personal orders that award you with 15 measly medals? Just play the damn game and you'll earn medals and supercredits naturally, what is the point of complaining about this?

Most personal orders are to kill enemies or kill them with certain stratagems and can be done easily with one erradicate automatons/terminids mission, sometimes to complete an operation, extract X times or extract with X number of samples. Even then it's just 15 medals, if the only incentive to log in is doing the personal order then you're better off uninstalling, since you're clearly not having fun.

Try to recognize skinnerbox mechanics when you see them and realize you aren't having fun if you play just to do them. That might ruin a lot of these live service games for you but you'll be better off for it tbh.

It's a casual p2w product, so it's normal to treat is as such by doing the daily and log off.

Kill 25 Terminids. The hill you are dying on is kill 25 Terminids. Before that it was kill 200 automatons, something I did in about a mission.

The weapon personal orders are to get people to try new stuff, see if they like it. The "kill" type person orders are normally just easy, with the exception of random chance bile spewers or people not kitted out for heavy/high level stuff. The "complete missions/objectives" types are just tossing medals at players.

What is the problem? Maybe I have an incompatible view point, since I don't pay attention to them. They get completed and I say,"what was it again? oh well."

I usually do personal orders without even knowing what they are as others complete them for me in random missions.

Only do what you find fun.
