Game almost broke my cpu
All i did was quit the game, game freezes during this and my pc fans go into over drive. Check my cpu temps and it was at 92 celsius and climbing. Had to hard reset my pc. Dont think ill be playing this any more. Not worth bricking my pc when the game decides to crash upon quitting to desktop.

Yep... I close game via task manager to prevent this from happening.

yeah thats rediculous. ive never had a game freeze on me like that or other wise crash and then proceed to over heat my hardware. had plenty of games get stuck and freeze where i had to hard reset my pc but over heating my hardware was never a part of those equations.

Uninstalled lol

Played 2 games today, crashed both times.
Posted awhile back about the game not shutting down properly.
Amazing stuff like this is still going on, really don't know what the people at AH are doing.

Well this isn't exactly a widely known problem, first I have heard of it even and I've bin around helping a few in support threads and stuff even. Also with the amount of detail what exactly would you purpose they do to fix it? They also don't do much here.

I'd suggest going to their submission website to report the problem properly along with full PC specs and a detailed method of how to recreate and what you are doing in game before it happens.

It is not entirely impossible something is interfering with them, what if any software do any of you use on the PC to run/monitor the fans?

what's your specs, sharing them may help other users with similar setup

maybe it's time for you to finally repaste and get a new cooler for your processor

i mean i have decent hardware. not even a 2 year old pc. rtx 3060 graphics card, AMD ryzen 5 5600g processor, the only 2 things that arent the greatest because its a prebuilt pc since i was too lazy to build my own is it has only 16 gigs of ram and the motherboard is a HP 8876 (have no idea if that motherboard is decent at all). Also 1 tb samsung ssd. I dont know why people suppose me listing my pc specs for this helps in any way. Im just complaining the game freeze crashed on me uppon quitting to deasktop and almost burnt out my cpu which is just stupid as ive had the same thing happen with other games in which none of those times did i ever experience a game over heating my hardware in the process. Not on this current pc and not on any other pc prior

That was precisely what I did once the game burnt out my heatsink's fan.
lol

He means "Exited" the game.
Ya know, like hit "exit" and left the game after a session.
Not "I QUIT!" ~Flip table~
However I can see how that could be misunderstood.

If you hadn't notice, alt+tab makes your gpu overload on 100% too for some reason. A lot of stress in put on hardware that may result in failure if there's a problem with cooling and foolishly set up OC.

it can't burn out a fan, your fan failed and would have already been failing. What probably happened is that the fan failed and you didn't notice and played the game with one burnt out fan. Then your cpu overheated. A video game literally can not burn out a fan on its own. It can simply ask the cpu to do work which will then cause the fan controllers to ask the fan to spin. The fan simply failed to spin by failing on its own with zero relation to the game.
