Worse, this seems to be an overall buff across the line for bugs. Warriors, Hunters (*insert incoherent cursing here*) chargers and bile titans all seem to be moving, and turning, faster than they did before.
It's honestly a pretty serious problem. I used to be able to reliably 100% tier 6 bug missions solo, with some effort. Now it serious effort just to survive a tier 4 mission.
and no, i will not simply co-op. Scaling the game properly to the given number of players should not be difficult, games have been doing it for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decades.
In the meantime, a few tips for playing against bugs:
1. Bring the gas strike. If you throw it on a bug breach, it will kill anything smaller than a brood commander.
2. Fire impact grenades are great for thinning out groups of regular mobs.
3. Supply backpack is your friend. On top of giving you far more longevity in terms of healing and ammo, it also basically makes every supply drop count double. It also gives you a lot more freedom for which weapon you want to pick against the bugs, since you wont be restrained by ammo.
You could wait till next update where supposedly they will address this issue, but for now if you couldn't finish it maybe i could help you complete this daily order if you're willing to host, i don't mind the connection issues
Nowadays, it isn't an issue for me as it was before, but dear Lord it take a long while to get used to it.
One suggestion: loadout and stratagems are critical to success, even more so with the increased patrols than before, you cannot afford mistakes when it comes to loadouts.
The only thing that got broken was the patrol spawns. It feels so bad because it sent the amount of enemies over the critical mass that can be realistically dealt with alone without getting bogged down.
Also, Shield Pack > Supply Pack if you run medical armors because most of the time you will die to slows and one-shots, both of which the shield prevents. 2 more stims with way longer duration go a long way too.
Most cringe take ever. Maybe Arrowhead shouldn't have broken the spawns to begin with when nobody had issues with them? Maybe they shouldn't have left said broken spawns in the game for more than a month?
