I didn't change my region - just bought a worldwide copy in verified store. They can't ban me coz I didn't do anything wrong.

That's only if you link your PSN to Steam (even that is unconfirmed it seems)
I'm playing that way since launch, the same I did with many other games, Steam isn't against that explicitly
