How to delete mods?

A few days ago I installed mods and now I want to delete them but I dont know how. I tried to verify the game files but it didnt work.

Since there's no official modding support, you would've had to installed them manually or via a modloader like Vortex.

If there's former, you can just delete the modded files and verify/uninstall. Also delete the Arrowhead folder in AppData if the mod changes anything there. Basically just wipe your drive of any evidence and the reinstall will bring it all back.

If there's latter, you can simply boot the game up without deploying mods. Most mod loaders work through a seperate folder that transfers all its contents to your game's directory when you boot the game through it, so if you don't use the mod launcher, those files stay out of your game's directory, meaning unmodded.

There are no mods for this game......

there are KNOWN hackers in this game though.
So maybe he's just wondering "Hey yall, how do I stop hacking?"

lol the fact he posted here is funny, so it may also be a clown farm attempt.

There are mods for helldivers 2. in fact there are many helldiver youtubers that play with them to make it clone wars or 40k.

sure its technically against the EULA, but more likely then not, modding will not get you banned unless you install mods that change stats and trigger the games automatic system. almost all mods for helldivers 2 are cosmetic be it weapon sounds or armour appearance. the devs will not ban you for using these mods and since these mods do nothing but make things look different, it is by no definition cheating.

simply delete the 'data' folder completely and empty recycle bin
verify file integrity through pressing options - properties - installed files
wait for completion and wait for files to redownload
this will not get rid of your saves/data and saved me when i went around using loads of mods

Not all mods are cheating. If you get a cosmetic mod that replace some guns with guns from Warhammer 40k. It is literally just a client side change. Nothing has ever effected the game so it functions the same. It can for that reason not be cheating.

If you replace the Eagles voicelines with something else. That is also not cheating as it only changes the voicelines.

Please get your head out of your a$$. A lot of games say that you are not allowed to modify the game in any way. Even Skyrim has those protections. It isn't there to ban mods, but to protect the devs and give them an excuse to ban people.
