How to delete mods?

A few days ago I installed mods and now I want to delete them but I dont know how. I tried to verify the game files but it didnt work.

Do not use things you do not understand. Consult the mods authors for support.
You have not even shared what mods you are talking about, putting aside that every mod could differ from the other how to use and install them.

Also delete everything that remains on you game folder, if ever, before reinstalling.

Typically mods are either done through an installer or by dropping them in a game folder in steamapps. Consult the install instructions to find out which one you used. If you dropped the content into a steamapps folder for the game it's as simple as deleting the files you dropped in usually.

it depends on the mod you installed.
- some install them inside your games folder.
- some install them inside your SaveGames folder
- some are just malicious software

As far as I am concerned, there is no official mod support.

I would be surprised if it does help for threadstarter. Usually it does not and the why is stated in the mod's manual.

The easiest way to clean up the game files is to have steam verify game cache integrity. Steam will redownload any game file that has been changed or is missing.

But if you're looking to make sure all the mod files and folders are gone, you'll likely need to delete Helldivers 2 folders and any mod directories manually. I don't believe verify cache deletes any additional files mods add to folders.

There are no mods for this game......

there are KNOWN hackers in this game though.
So maybe he's just wondering "Hey yall, how do I stop hacking?"

Nah, I just did a search and nexus mods indeed have mods for this game, simple skin mods.

you do know theres a place called nexus mods that have skin mods for the game. like master cheif, star wars, warhammer 40k etc so youre the clown attempt
