What if my regions in my PlayStation and Steam accounts differ?

Basically, title.

My Steam account is in X region and my PlayStation account is in Y region — will connecting accounts cause any bans on PlayStation’s side? I don't want to risk my PlayStation account since I use it on my PS4 Pro and PSVITA.

PSN can permaban you.
There is a protocol for 'informing' PSN of your country change.
Sounds a bit 'big brother' to me imo.

I know it can — they could do it for a long ass time, however, I’m worried that there will be some sort of “alarm” if different regions account connection happens.

So I want someone to confirm that it ain’t an issue.

This is exactly why we went to war over linking PSN to our Steam accounts. No PSN account linked to Steam account, Sony has no way to stop you. Don't link the accounts, there is absolutely no benefit.

Yeah, but Ghost of Tsushima still requires it. The war is not over — Sony won’t stop and they never did. Maybe it was one step back, maybe they did it specifically for Helldivers 2, but other games won’t have the same fate. Again, look at Ghost of Tsushima. It is sad, but true.
