The new plasma rifle in polar patriots

Is absolute booty cheeks lol. For having to charge up every shot it doesnt do nearly enough direct or splash damage to warrant taking. Needs at least a 50% increase to raw damage to warrant taking over the other 2 plasma weapons.

I didnt "buy" it, I just used the creds I got in game for free. Besides the initial purchase I havent spent a dime. But this was by far the worst warbond. Each weapon was extremely underwhelming. The impact flame nade was aight tho.

Yea, I figured itd be like a regular plasma rifle but youd have the option to charge it up to do nice damage, but its so underwhelming.

Ah that whole 'putting people who say similar things to eachother in a box and completely devaluing their opinion so i can dismiss them, despite engaging enough to state this, because im a depressed lonely person in one of the first waves of human beings to use a technology that is clearly having negative effects on my brain, and my ability to even cope with life anymore as i appear to be applying my own boredom and repetitive experiences on the internet to everyone and everything essentially devaluing my own experience of life by instinctively turning everything into a meme that no one finds funny but me' thing.

Same amount of damage (250) per shot as the Plasma Punisher.
1 sec charge up time, which the scorcher can output about 600 damage (200 per shot) in the same time frame,
Lackluster explosive damage which doesn't match up as good as the Plasma Punisher either.
Supposed to be longer ranged, but lacks the scope for it.
The gun is confused as a marksman/sniper rifle identifying as a grenade launcher.

Either it needs its explosive damage and area increased 50-75%.
or it's direct damage buffed 100%, with a better scope if possible.

Yea I'd agree with this take, I just don't understand the role that its going for, it doesnt do anything particularly well.

Yeah its pretty bad, ALLEGEDLY, the weapon is actually currently bugged/broken, big surprise, and its not increasing damage as it charges which apparently it should.

WHY... Why does this not surprise me? It seems like their development process does not include thinking about what they are doing, just repeating what they have done in the past. It's as if they just took the charge system from arc and threw it on this gun without actually adjusting anything.
